Ms Poh Li San serves as Vice President (Terminal 4 Programme Management Office) of the Changi Airport Group. She oversees the entire programme for the development of Terminal 4 from its early conceptualisation in 2012. Prior to that, Ms Poh was Vice President (Budget Terminal) from 2010 till 2012, where she oversaw operations and maintenance of the terminal and was instrumental in its closure to make way for the construction of Terminal 4. From 1998 to 2010, Ms Poh held various appointments in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), Ministry of Defence and the President’s Office in Istana. She started her career as a Search and Rescue Pilot on the Super Puma helicopter and held the last appointment as the Officer-in-Command in 125 Squadron in 2006. In the Ministry of Defence, Ms Poh was part of the pioneer team in the Future Systems Directorate which spearheaded the transformation of the Singapore Armed Forces. She served as Assistant Director from 2003 to 2005. In 2006, Ms Poh became the first female full-time Aide-de-Camp to the President of Republic of Singapore, the late Mr S R Nathan. She served in this capacity for four years until 2010. Ms Poh was awarded the SAF Merit Scholarship (Women) in 1994 and studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with University Honors and was awarded the Bronze Tablet, as well as a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Economics) and was awarded the Summa Cum Laude and Highest Distinction in Economics.
